Recruit at the PhillyMagnet Career Fair, powered by the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Daily News and Philly.com/Monster, and meet a diverse and talented pool of job candidates looking to work with some of the top companies in the region.

The fair will take place on Thursday, April 30 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, in Center City Philadelphia.

Last year, the Career Fair attracted 4,000 candidates who represented a broad spectrum of education and experience, from entry-level to mid-career and upper-management. Out of these talents:

• 42% possessed a high school degree or equivalent
• 45% possessed an associate’s degree or higher and
• 25% possessed management/executive level experience.

Additionally, the talent pool was comprised of a 50/50 ratio of men and women and a mix of ethnic backgrounds.

The current list of recruiting companies is diversified as well, including ACME Markets, HCR Manor Care Health Services, Niche Media, Inc., Primerica Financial, Philadelphia Gas Works, Rite Aid, SEPTA, and the University of Pennsylvania.
