Competition fuels opportunity and growth. It creates an environment where corporations, small businesses and individuals can prosper. But in today's global marketplace, talent, desire and a dose of good fortune may get the team to the game but don’t guarantee a win. The CEO Council for Growth, Select Greater Philadelphia, the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and the regional chambers in southern New Jersey and northern Delaware are working in partnership to create a stronger, more vibrant Greater Philadelphia by improving the region's competitive positioning and ability to succeed.
The CEO Council for Growth, Select Greater Philadelphia and the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce look to stimulate and create new business economic activity in the eleven counties that make up the Greater Philadelphia region.
The counties are:
- Delaware: New Castle County
- New Jersey: Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Mercer and Salem counties
- Pennsylvania: Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties
The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce united with other organizations around the region, including the tourism and hospitality industry, to create a more attractive place to visit and do business. The Chamber also holds annual and semi-annual programs and events to create awareness for current issues affecting both the business and general communities and enhance the national and international perception of Greater Philadelphia.
